Community Textile Classes - 10am-12pm Saturday and/or 2pm-4pm Sunday
Committed to keeping ancient textile arts alive!
Will be teaching spinning , felting, knitting, eco dye and fibre processing in our weekly textile classes.
Classes are drop-in and will focus on different areas and techniques. You can progress at your own rate, ask questions, drop-in (and out) as your schedule and life allows.
Materials are supplied for beginners OR bring your spinning wheel if you have one, or any work in progress or materials you are stuck on.
The textile school and classes run on a Saturday from 10am-12pm and Sunday from 2pm-4pm every week.
Classes are $35 for the 2 hour session and includes a cuppa.
You can pay on arrival or pre-purchase your classes - with a discount if you pre-purchase 3 or 5 classes.
1 class - $35
3 classes - $95 (saving of $10)
5 classes - $150 (saving of $25)
** Our classes are suitable for FIFO workers, shift workers and people with busy lives. Our textile and art community classes are designed for you to be able to attend classes when its suits you. You can progress your own speed, work on your own project or one of ours and enjoy making new friends with your Textile Art group.
**Classes run at the same time every week all year (excluding the month of February when we take our annual leave).
**There are no refunds on pre-purchased classes. If you are unable to attend one week you can always come another weekend!
**Pre-purchased tickets are inter-changeable for both the textile and art school. Try them both and find your passion!
