‘’Spring Moments" – By Bobbie Selleck Exhibition runs 3rd October to 18th October 2020 "Beauty is found in a moment of stillness when you pause to take in the colour and vibrancy of life around you”
In these pauses I am filled with awe and wonder as I let the moment wash over me and capture the moment as a snapshot in my memory. My pieces express these moments, not just in colour but also I hope in the feelings of the experiences. That, and I am always drawn to rich and vibrant colours, which our Aussie landscape abounds in, particularly in Spring when the bush comes alive with wildflowers. |
This year’s exhibition will show elements of previous collections of Fabric of Nature including “Beauty from the Bush” and “Felt on the Farm” featuring delicate silks, recycling workwear and merino felted wool garments from the sheep on my family farm.
